After our well-deserved and expected holidays that we had during the Easter season, we are heading towards a learning style. Now that I am back on the blog, I want to tell you that this was the content that we started this week and we learned the following learning styles:

 

A learning style consists of a series of personal characteristics with which they develop according to growth, there are different types of intelligence, we saw them in this record, and in addition to that there are different ways of learning that many of us are familiar with in some way. These are:

Ø Visual: when students choose to see information about images, diagrams and cartoons, they have as imagination the words heard as images, they have benefits over the use of graphs, maps, notes or cards when studying, they have difficulties when explanations are verbal.

 

Ø Auditory: when they listen to the information given, they absorb information effortlessly, they feel the large amount of note-taking unnecessary, they avoid eye contact for concentration, they read aloud and they like to play background music while they are studying. It also refers to when we are studying languages ​​and paying more attention to the narration.

 

Ø Kinesthetic: it talks about learning related to our sensations and movements, it also explains when we learn easily by moving and touching things as a main way to assimilate information, it also refers to when we create study sheets with animated examples, they can benefit through the manipulative use mainly generating a learning with difficulties to forget it.

 

  Reading / Writing: when students prefer to have a list of words to help them maintain ideas, they memorize the information and remember it at the end as words that do not have visual aids, they minimize input and output that are based on the text and they prefer to work online such as Word documents, PowerPoint until converting the file to PDF, use the Internet to send them to online contacts, some use dictionaries, among others.

 

Although on that day there were exhibitions from different groups, unfortunately we did not pass due to the time that we ran out and we no longer had enough, here I took some screenshots that I will share with you below as proofs or screenshots of how the exhibitions were.

 

This is how all these presentations were good and we all liked it. Good luck in the partials and it is a pleasure to correspond to these topics.

The last day about the presentations of Multiple Intelligences (Round III)

The last day of the expositions, we listened about the Intrapersonal, Existential, and Naturalist Intelligence, all was very fun, amusing and there were educational and it teached many values.

When we listened about the Intrapersonal Intelligence, our partners defended all the feelings in some papers that represented the faces like the sadness, happiness, anger, smiling and other more emotions.

            

When we talk about the Naturalist Intelligence, we listened our partners giving to us some characteristics as every intelligence and what we were all waiting for the activity. The game was about the mystery box and some of them take their hands in a guess to explore what was inside, some of them feel nervous since other didn’t, they started to play and they feel that something was inside and it was part of a trick of the game.

 

In the Existential Intelligence we are making a lot of questions like Why are you here? What does it mean the nature? and other more, all those goals help us to think the things better and we can analyze as a great philosopher, scientist and many much more.

         


  

In all those presentation as all we know, Jonathan was our classmate who played in all the presentations and he was the winner, many of those parts were very funny and we approach opportunities to gave some opinion, to pass for taking pictures, listen how they play and we are always happy about this and all those activities were the greatest support that we can receive and do with the others.

After we finished our expositions, we feel it was a pleasure knowing about this topic and we knew a lot about it, so I recommend that we cannot lost the next time of all the following classes.

Presentaciones sobre los tipos de Inteligencias Múltiples

Hola a todos, por medio de esta entrada quiero hablarles acerca de las actividades que nosotros presentamos en el lugar donde hemos aprendido de varias formas enseñarles a todos los demás como pudimos explicar todos los detalles de cada contenido, hemos realizado algunas dinámicas creativas y tuve la oportunidad de ser parte y defender de cada una de ellas dando características y algunos ejemplos.

Fueron 4 los tipos de inteligencia que más me llamaron la atención que a continuación se las presentaré.

Comenzaré con la Inteligencia Espacial.

Inteligencia Espacial.

Es definida como la capacidad humana poder observar el mundo y objetos desde diferentes perspectivas, es la habilidad que crea imágenes mentales para resolver los problemas. Es compuesta por distintas habilidades las cuales son:

Imaginación dinámica

Manipulación de las imágenes

Otras

 

La gente con alta inteligencia espacial es excelente dibujando o armando rompecabezas. Los escultores, arquitectos, pintores o pilotos son ejemplos de individuos con alta habilidad espacial. Por tanto, la inteligencia espacial se llama así porque se involucra en la resolución de problemas espaciales, ya sean reales o imaginarios. De nuestro nivel de inteligencia espacial dependería de nuestro éxito en tareas como conducir y aparcar un coche, construir una maqueta, orientarse, dar instrucciones a otras personas que ve las cosas desde otro ángulo o utilizar herramientas más o menos complejas.

Inteligencia Musical: 

Mientras algunas personas son muy buenas realizando esculturas o aprendiendo a pintar, otras personas tienen una capacidad enorme por elaborar piezas musicales, pues reconocen y componen tonos y ritmos musicales con un gran talento. Estas personas tienen ventajas en el aspecto de tener una inteligencia musical muy alta, les permite aprender a tocar instrumentos, leer o componer piezas musicales con facilidad.

Los siguientes pasos de cómo desarrollar las capacidades musicales son:

Prestar más atención a los sonidos cotidianos y de nuestro entorno.

Cantar diferentes canciones, así como silbarlas o tararearlas.

Aprender a tocar algún instrumento

Tomar clases de canto, tanto si es individualmente como si es en grupo.

Asistir a clases de baile.

Inteligencia emocional:

A pesar de que el concepto de inteligencia emocional fue empleado por primera vez por los psicólogos americanos Peter Salovey y John Mayer en el año 1990, fue Goleman quien, gracias a su best-seller Inteligencia Emocional (1995), hizo famoso este constructo.

La inteligencia emocional comprende tanto la inteligencia intrapersonal como la inteligencia interpersonal, y está compuesta por cinco elementos: autoconciencia emocional, autocontrol emocional, automotivación, empatía y habilidades sociales. Son muchas las investigaciones que afirman que la inteligencia emocional aporta muchos beneficios: minimiza los efectos del estrés y lo previene, mejora el bienestar emocional, mejora las relaciones interpersonales, mejora el rendimiento laboral.

Inteligencia naturalista:

Es la capacidad de distinguir, clasificar y manipular elementos del medio ambiente, objetos, animales o plantas. Es común observar una alta inteligencia naturalista en biólogos, ambientólogos, climatólogos, ingenieros forestales, paleontólogos, agrónomos, veterinarios o incluso en exploradores, guardias forestales, jardineros, cazadores o exterminadores. Esta inteligencia se refiere a la capacidad para observar la naturaleza, identificar y clasificar sus elementos y, por lo tanto, los alumnos en los que predomina muestran interés por los animales y plantas, suelen explorar el medio ambiente y pasan tiempo en entornos naturales. Es un científico o un entusiasta ilustrado​​​ que practica las ciencias naturales, en particular la botánica, la zoología, la mineralogía e incluso la astronomía. El adjetivo naturalista califica a una persona, un grupo (asociación, sociedad científica) o una actividad (senderismo, exploración, dibujo). Los autores naturalistas se caracterizan por abordar en sus textos la dureza y oscuridad de ciertas situaciones en las cuales se encontraban muchas personas con temas como, por ejemplo, la pobreza, el alcoholismo, la prostitución, las diferencias de las clases sociales y los dramas sociales, familiares o personales.
