Description of teachers


Hello again, welcome to the third record, we are back to continue learning more knowledge as new content.

Last week we finished the second registration, we did the partial exams, I in my case only had it Monday and Thursday because I have only 2 subjects this cycle, I consider it a good week with a good objective. Today we present a content on DESCRIBE THE TEACHERS.

 

Being a teacher is a responsibility that not everyone will develop because it seems something very huge and with long experiences, what will leave your heart happy when you have the knowledge of working with people or your future colleagues. The following aspects are:

-          The role of the teacher in a classroom of teaching.

-          Be an organizer before giving a lesson.

-          Be interpreters in moments of behavior and activities.

-          Begin to relate in contact with each student.

-          As didactic material (Tutor or advisor).

-          They can be native or non-native speakers.

 

Each student will discover the following steps such as:

-          The role of the teacher in a classroom: There is teacher can control by leading the way to give a learning, can aim to be a reminder of the activities that are organized, has the privilege of advising a participant to defend something in the environment of the students, a resource to provide support and tutoring during a feedback on a project.

-      When the teacher is an organizer: in this aspect, most teachers prepare materials on how something will be developed before, in the present and in the future.

-      An interpreter teacher: it is when teachers are participating giving analysis so that students have contact with them to be able to help them.

-        Relationship of a teacher: when they already know the students and call them by their preferred name, and that is given to pay attention to the students and give them a deserved respect as equality of the majority of students.

-     Teacher as help: This is when you join to give a tutorial or advice to an activity, such as when providing sources of research, seminar, convey meanings through expressions and be observant of your participant.

-     Teachers as native vs non-native speakers: In the context of English teachers, as you know very well, if they are not native speakers they will face an inferiority barrier, but if there is an effort and they begin to connect and understand students and natives better there will be better communication during class and they will be able to communicate in a more reliable way.


We know that due to an important migratory event of the UEES we had to work from home on campus and we had to define everything we understood.

Next week we will be in the month of May, there will be other details of this content and I will not miss the next adventures we give in the classes, I will have more tests and I will exhibit them in the next Blog.

Describing Learners

 

Description of Students.

 


Previously as we have understood all learning styles, we will describe them in this blog below.

We will not forget that these learning styles are the following: visual, kinesthetic and reading / writing. To describe them we take into account the following aspects such as age, learning differences, language levels, motivation and background.

1.    Age. For age we have children, adolescents and adults. With each of them we identify everything we have focused on what we have, in this way we have the ability to have communication and certain commitments with students.



2.    Student differences. We need to identify the intelligence that these students present so that we can have an idea in a great way to work as a team with them, also show the capacity we have before we start working.

 


3.    Motivation: We do not forget that we have students present, whose objective is to get to know them at a higher level, there is a means that would help us achieve that goal they have, it is necessary to work with motivation towards everything they extend during their goals, being their helix, we can realize what they think.

 


4.    Background. We can mention one more thing there during the present moment in class, each student has a training just as we, as teachers, should support and value them. Sometimes we are in very difficult situations in life that causes a loss of motivation, for example, winning a medal, among others.

 


There are students of all ages, since they are children, adolescents and adults and can even reach the third age and even the elderly with interests in learning something new in life in order to have good mental health and have greater intelligence, even know almost everything in life. That is great and naturally young children are the ones who most need to be taken care of by ourselves, they need individual attention therapies since they have ease to be distracted. However, we can find people who like to work with children and adolescents, especially with children because they are the future of humanity and are the ones who most need to learn in case there are some things that do not understand them, meanwhile adults are the ones who have the responsibility to be able to give guidance to children,  Also education for being those who pay for it, they have experience in many things that they developed throughout their personal growth and can set an example with children and give them some regulations so that they reach that point when they also reach adulthood.

Students are classified by their language levels, they love and feel the interest in learning and being able to communicate the language they learn, they can be classified with the Common European Framework. They start from the basics, then intermediate, then the advanced level and at the end they have the privilege of being volunteers if they want to study a conversation course in the language, that would help them satisfy society and also gives them the curiosity to learn something new to teach the rest of each new student who prepares each year.

All these aspects that form a student and as we heard in each presentation in class we realized all the people with different objectives, learning and different skills, all these regulations can support us and also give support to students taking into account that we all have goals to meet and it is a dream that comes true.

Learning Styles

After our well-deserved and expected holidays that we had during the Easter season, we are heading towards a learning style. Now that I am back on the blog, I want to tell you that this was the content that we started this week and we learned the following learning styles:

 

A learning style consists of a series of personal characteristics with which they develop according to growth, there are different types of intelligence, we saw them in this record, and in addition to that there are different ways of learning that many of us are familiar with in some way. These are:

Ø Visual: when students choose to see information about images, diagrams and cartoons, they have as imagination the words heard as images, they have benefits over the use of graphs, maps, notes or cards when studying, they have difficulties when explanations are verbal.

 

Ø Auditory: when they listen to the information given, they absorb information effortlessly, they feel the large amount of note-taking unnecessary, they avoid eye contact for concentration, they read aloud and they like to play background music while they are studying. It also refers to when we are studying languages ​​and paying more attention to the narration.

 

Ø Kinesthetic: it talks about learning related to our sensations and movements, it also explains when we learn easily by moving and touching things as a main way to assimilate information, it also refers to when we create study sheets with animated examples, they can benefit through the manipulative use mainly generating a learning with difficulties to forget it.

 

  Reading / Writing: when students prefer to have a list of words to help them maintain ideas, they memorize the information and remember it at the end as words that do not have visual aids, they minimize input and output that are based on the text and they prefer to work online such as Word documents, PowerPoint until converting the file to PDF, use the Internet to send them to online contacts, some use dictionaries, among others.

 

Although on that day there were exhibitions from different groups, unfortunately we did not pass due to the time that we ran out and we no longer had enough, here I took some screenshots that I will share with you below as proofs or screenshots of how the exhibitions were.
